Many home cooks are always looking for new products to try out, and there are a few out now or coming to shelves near you soon!
Kumana is a new product that will bring some spice to your table. It is inspired by a Venezuelan staple traditionally served on grilled meats, sauteed veggies and sandwiches. This avocado-based hot sauce also includes the flavors of onion, bell pepper, cilantro, garlic and vinegar.
The brand offers three flavors: Be Original, Be Mango -- which adds in mango puree for a bit of sweet, and Be Hot, which adds habanero.
At home it was tested with nachos, and it did add a different flavor to the usual fare, and those that like avocado really enjoyed this.
Also out now from Tuscanini Foods is several new gourmet food products including several different kinds of pastas, authentic Italian tomato sauces and pastes, apple cider vinegar and gourmet balsamic vinegar and finishing glaze.
All of the products are made with natural ingredients and are certified OU kosher.
We tried the pastas, and they were very good, some even in vegetable flavors, that made an ordinary dish seem extra special.
