Mary Kathryn Rodriguez, 75, of Wheatland, CA, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018, at Rideout Hospital in Marysville, CA.
Mary was born in Parkersburg, WV, on August 8, 1942, to Hamey and Nina Richards. Mary was a resident of Wheatland for 31 years. She was retired from Beale Air Force Base Exchange after many years of service.
Mary is survived by her husband of 30 years, Luis "Rod" Rodriguez; her mother Nina Richards of Vienna, WV; sisters Linda Richards, also of Vienna, and Rhonda Knapp (John) of Ft. Worth, Texas; and brother Ronald Richards (Dona) of Washington, WV. She is also survived by her son, Michael Rawson (Natalie McMillan Rawson); granddaughters Mikayla and Megan; son Kevin Rawson; and grandson Chase. Mary is also survived by Luis' children, Dean, Colette, Jason and Troy (Terry); grandchildren Alexis, Sofia, Roman, Paris, Mariah and Robert; and three great-grandchildren, Jay, Noah and Nyomi.
Mary is preceded in death by her father, Hamey Richards, and her first husband, Robert Rawson.
Mary loved her yearly travels back to West Virginia and Texas to visit family and friends. She enjoyed playing board games, card games and shopping with her family.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Mary's life on May 5 at 11 a.m. at the Wheatland Community Fellowship Church of God, with pastor John Burns officiating.
