Robert Howard Goff, 80, of Frew Circle, Middlebourne, departed this life Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Sistersville General Hospital.
He was born April 13, 1936, in Tyler County, a son of the late Shirley and Lula Dunn Goff.
Howard was a retired carpenter for Republic Steel, Warren Ohio. He was a member of Middlebourne Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Goff; four brothers, Justice Willard Goff, Nathan Goff, Marvin Goff and Roger Lee Dunn; and a sister, Josephiene Coulter.
Howard is survived by a son, Robert Dean Goff and his wife, Victoria, of Poland, Ohio; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Gebhartd and her husband, Ralph, of North Lima, Ohio, and Teresa Ann Edwards and her husband, Tracy, of New Castle, Pa.; a brother, Ferrell Goff of Braceville, Ohio; two sisters, Altha Mae Seckman and Alma and Ola Bell Nice of New Martinsville; seven grandchildren, Jess D. Goff, Ashley Kannal, Stephanie Edwards, Logan Skruck, Jason Edwards, Rodney Morris II and Valerie Morris; and six great-grandchildren, Nathan, Madeline, Samantha and Breanna Goff and Brooklyn and Gavin Reidy.
Family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Howard's son, Pastor Robert Dean Goff officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Joseph's Mills.
