ATHENS, Ohio -- On June 21 the following reports were released by the Athens County Sheriff's Department:
June 20
* The sheriff's office responded to Albany Arms Apartments in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The caller said the car had been running since about midnight and the door was ajar. Contact was made with the owner who stated due to a recent mechanical problem he could not shut the car off.
* The sheriff's office responded to The Plains in reference to a dispute near McDonald's. Upon arrival it was determined the dispute was only verbal. The involved parties were told to separate for the day to allow things to calm down between them.
* The sheriff's office was dispatched to a Doanville residence on a report of a theft of tools.
* A resident of Dickson Road in Albany reported two men, one in his 30s and one in his 40s knocked on her door then entered her home without permission. Once she announced herself they told her when they knocked the door came open and they stepped inside. The two men told the caller their dump truck, a red 1970-1980s model single axle truck had overheated in her driveway and they needed to unload the gravel they were hauling. The men told the female they would give her the gravel at their cost, $400 for 10 ton just so they could get rid of it. The caller refused to take the gravel telling the men she could get the same amount for around $100.00 at a quarry. Units responded to the area, but the two men left the area upon our arrival.
* A stolen ATV was recovered on Ohio 356 that was taken from the Jacksonville area.
* The sheriff's office was advised of a marijuana plant someone had located in a flower pot growing in the brush near a local park. The area was checked but no such plant was able to be located and is assumed at this time to have been moved.
* A female called in reporting her sister was being annoying and repeatedly calling. Contact was made with the sister who was asked to stop all contact and the complainant was advised of the same.
* The Rural Women's Recovery reported two females who had become uncooperative in the facility. One female left prior to deputies arrived and the other was transported to the county line to meet a ride.
* A female contacted the sheriff's office to advise her boyfriend was being mean to her and she was leaving the house to get away from him.
* The sheriff's office was called to a dispute in Coolville between a husband and wife. Both parties were intoxicated and reported they had been arguing but no threats or violence were reported. Parties separated to avoid further issues.

ATHENS, Ohio -- On June 22 the following reports were released by the Athens County Sheriff's Department:
June 21
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to Red Dog Road for a trespass complaint. The caller said their neighbor was pounding on their front door demanding to use their phone. The caller said they told the neighbor numerous times to stop coming on to their property. A formal trespass complaint was filed, and the neighbor was told if they returned to the property that they could be arrested.
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to Lemaster Road for a noise complaint. The caller said her neighbor was out revving a motorcycle. Deputies patrolled the area but heard no signs of any revving motorcycle or other loud noises.
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to U.S. 33 at Pleasanton Road with a Hopewell Transport vehicle. There was incident on the van while in transport with two juvenile passengers. The deputy arrived and spoke with both juveniles involved.
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Buchtel Food Mart on a report of a non-injury private property accident. Deputies arrived and a report was taken.
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office was advised of an issue in the Jacksonville area in which two adults had spoken with a teenager visiting their home and convinced him to give them a television to pawn. When his mother contacted them about the television and other missing property they denied possession of the property. This matter remains under investigation.
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office responded to Ohio 691 for a prowler complaint. The caller believed they saw a man in a white T-shirt outside their window. Deputies walked around the house and patrolled the area but found no signs of any such person.
* The Athens County Sheriff's Office assisted a disabled vehicle along U.S. 33. The vehicle had a flat tire but no spare. Deputies assisted the vehicle owner in contacting their insurance provider and contacting their emergency roadside assistance program.
