MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on April 24.
* On April 22, the driver of an unknown vehicle struck the passenger side tail light and rear bumper of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am owned by Jerry Rogers, 2288 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent. Rogers’ teenage son had parked the vehicle at Subway at 7665 Ohio 339, Vincent. The incident caused light damage.
* On April 23, Darrell Crawford, 65, 103 Schilling St., Marietta, reported he recently discovered someone siphoned $2,200 from his bank account over several years. It appears the funds were sent to an account overseas. This case remains under investigation.
* On April 23, Michael E. Vincent, 28, 715 Old River Road, Little Hocking, reported at some point during the past two days someone stole a miter saw and a circular saw from a garage on his property. The total value of the two saws is approximately $250.
* Elizabeth Marie Westgate, 54, 4577 Waterford Road, Marietta, was arrested for misuse of a credit card and for receiving stolen property, both misdemeanors. Westgate was picked at the North Central Regional Jail and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on April 22.
* On April 19, Deputy Sheriff Huffer issued a citation to Daniel C. Tomey, 21, 38669 Mount Olive Road, Sardis, for traveling 115 mph in a 55 mph zone on State Route 7 near milepost 30 in Newport Township.
* On April 21, Deputy Sheriff Metts charged Washington County Jail inmate William E. Bartges Jr., 42, Newport, for violating the terms of a protection order. An investigation into the theft of another inmate’s phone card PIN resulted in the discovery that Bartges used the inmate’s PIN to phone his estranged wife six times over a seven-day span. Bartges’ wife has had a protection order against him since November 2014.
* On April 21, Deputy Sheriff Johnson arrested Jessica M. Leedy, 34, 9550 State Route 550, Vincent, for child endangering. Leedy is the custodial guardian of a 10-year-old Barlow-Vincent Elementary School student who was found to have bruises and welts on his left arm. When questioned, the victim said Leedy inflicted the injuries using a three foot long piece of wood she calls “George.” Leedy reportedly uses the stick on a regular basis to threaten other children in the home as a form of disciplining them, officials said. Leedy initially denied striking the victim with the stick but later commented that the victim throws fits and she was not sure how to deal with him so she struck him several times with the stick. The victim and another child were removed from Leedy’s home.
The victim’s biological mother, Misty D. Winchell, 33, 9552 State Route 550, was at Barlow-Vincent while deputies were investigating the abuse claim and became angry when she was informed her mobile phone was going to be seized as evidence. Moments earlier, Winchell showed Maj. Schuck a text message on her phone that Schuck determined had evidentiary value. Deputies warned Winchell to calm down on multiple occasions, but she refused to relinquish her phone and continued to yell obscenities in the school parking lot. Winchell was arrested for disorderly conduct.
* On April 21, Timothy W. Terry, 47, 868 Center St., Wheelersburg, Ohio, was operating a mag-drill at Kraton Polymers when the magnet unexpectedly released the drill and it fell five feet onto Terry’s hand. Terry was treated for a broken pinky finger and released from Camden Clark Medical Center. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
* On April 22, Sgt. McGilton requested summonses for Jason Porter, 32, and Marla Porter, 34, both of 750 Powell Road, Cutler, for failing to confine/restrain a dog and failing to register a dog. McGilton warned the Porters to restrain their dogs several times during the past year but the dogs were again found running loose and into Powell Road.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday and Wednesday:
* Misty Dawn Winchell, 33, 9552 State Route 550, Vincent, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Winchell was arrested in Vincent by Deputy Sheriff Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Jessica Marie Leedy, 34, 9550 State Route 550, Vincent, for child endangering, a misdemeanor. Leedy was arrested in Vincent by Deputy Sheriff Johnson and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Mary Elizabeth Wolfe, 37, 129 N. Main St., Woodsfield, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Wolfe was picked up in Monroe County by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Joshua Shane Cayton, 36, 12213 Worthington Ave., Cleveland, for driving under a suspended license and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Cayton was picked up in Medina, Ohio, and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* James Ray Sizemore III, 31, 50450 McKinze Ridge Road, Racine, Ohio, for a felony charge of being a fugitive from justice and misdemeanor charges of failure to reinstate his operator’s license and not wearing a seat belt. Sizemore was arrested near milepost two on U.S. 50 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Amber Dawn Petry, 18, 205 Elm St., Belpre, for illegal manufacturing/cultivation of drugs, a felony. Petry was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Kirby of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Joshua Glenn Stewart, 34, 205 Elm St., Belpre, for illegal manufacturing/cultivation of drugs, a felony. Stewart was arrested in Belpre by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Michael Alexander Carrillo, 21, 205 Elm St., Belpre, for illegal manufacturing/cultivation of drugs, a felony. Carrillo was arrested in Belpre by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Carrie Ann Metz, 34, 1515 Washington Blvd., Belpre, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Metz was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff Gerber and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Tammy Renee Radabaugh, 39, 15884 State Route 550, Fleming, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Metz was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff Moyer and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Phillip Dale West Jr., 27, 836 Pike St. Apt. 17, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. West was arrested at Kmart by Patrolman Kramer of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on April 23.
* On April 22, the bookkeeper for Morgan Mechanical, 11105 State Route 60, Lowell, reported she recently discovered an unknown suspect forged one of the business’ checks for nearly $1,470 and cashed it at a bank in McConnelsville. The bookkeeper said the checks preceding and following the stolen check were written in June 2011.
* On April 22, Deputy Sheriff Hunter arrested Brooke M. Miller, 42, 1722 Washington Blvd., Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of a protection order. Earlier in the morning, Miller visited her ex-husband’s residence on Damon Road in Waterford and stayed to speak with her ex-husband, Michael P. Miller, 46. Mr. Miller was uncooperative, but he did say he initiated contact with his ex-wife by phoning her. Later in the afternoon, Mr. Miller’s current live-in girlfriend reported she observed Ms. Miller driving toward her residence on a dead-end road. Fearing what would happen if a confrontation should occur, Mr. Miller’s girlfriend departed the residence with her son. Ms. Miller proceeded to follow Mr. Miller’s girlfriend for approximately three miles before turning. Mr. Miller has had a protection order on his ex-wife since March.
* On April 22, Robert C. Thompson, 28, 17669 State Route 26, Marietta, reported he was involved in an argument with his wife. Thompson said his wife was angry with him when he arrived home from work and began yelling at him. Thompson’s wife started punching walls and doors. Deputy Sheriff Hunter concluded that no physical violence occurred and no act of domestic violence took place.
* On April 23, Sgt. McGilton requested a summons for Kenneth W. Spence, 57, 494 Moody Ridge Road, Belpre, for failing to confine/restrain a dog. A day earlier, a neighbor reported Spence’s wolf-hybrid was outside unsupervised and attacked her small dog. The neighbor said she fears for the safety of her children and her dog when Spence’s dog is running loose.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Wednesday:
* Brooke Michelle Miller, 42, 1722 Washington Blvd., Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of a protection order. Miller was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Robert Dale Dalrymple, 38, 40500 Lick Skillet Road, Woodsfield, for disorderly conduct and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Dalrymple was picked up in Noble County and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports April 17:
* On April 14, a deputy arrested a 15-year-old Belpre resident on a charge of delinquency by domestic violence. The teenager reportedly became upset after his father called his deceased mother a junkie. The juvenile then punched his father in the head four times. Family members said earlier in the day the juvenile was handling an unloaded crossbow and threatened to kill his father. The juvenile’s father was able to retrieve the crossbow before his son could load it.
* On April 16, Ashley N. Tabler, 21, 2095 Beech Hilaman Road, Stockport, reported she was traveling to work when she noticed smoke emanating from her vehicle’s trunk in the vicinity of the 700 block of Mitchell Avenue in Beverly. The fire appears to have been ignited by worn wires in the trunk. The Beverly-Waterford Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. Tabler’s 1997 Subaru sustained significant damage.
* On April 16, a citation was issued to Kevin W. Thomas II, 33, 1505 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, for driving under a suspended license and for not wearing a seat belt. He was stopped on Ohio 555 near Twin Bridge Road in Belpre Township.
* On April 16, a deputy responded to the scene of death of a 65year-old Barlow Township resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Thursday and Friday:
* Kevin Michael Busch, 21, 1380 Brackenridge Road, Vincent, for felonious assault. Busch was picked up at the Corrections Reception Center by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 16.
* Trista Ann Oliver, 21, 619 Tenth St., Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Oliver was arrested on Knox Street in Marietta by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 16.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports and charges Thursday:
* Sgt. Johnson and Deputy Sheriff Huffer responded to a domestic dispute at 145 Booth Hollow Road, Wingett Run, on Tuesday. Rebecca Stille, 28, said an argument with her live-in boyfriend, William Anderson, 31, began at their residence at 7:30 a.m. after he discovered she had been speaking to another man. The two continued to argue as Stille drove the pair from Marietta to their residence later in the morning. During the trip, Anderson grabbed the steering wheel and caused the vehicle to drive into a ditch. Neither party was injured but Stille said Anderson’s actions caused her to fear for her safety. Stille said Anderson threw items around the inside of the home. Anderson denied threatening or striking Stille and said he took out his anger by firing a gun at an old truck on his property. Johnson arrested Anderson for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
* The Reno Volunteer Fire Department transported a 29-year-old Marietta Township resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital Wednesday for treatment of a drug overdose. First responders found the victim in a bathtub unresponsive and administered Narcan to counteract the opioids in her system. Thereafter, the victim became alert and was able to state that she ingested several drugs, including heroin. Further tests indicated the victim also tested positive for benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana, and other opiates. The victim is expected to recover fully.
* Dale Treadway, 62, 185 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, reported Wednesday an unknown suspect used his personal information to file a federal income tax return.
* Deputy Sheriff Metts investigated Wednesday a report of a 15-year-old Blennerhassett Township resident that made a suicidal comment on an Internet message board. The teenager admitted making a comment about taking a lot of pills, but said she did not intend to harm herself. She agreed to go to the hospital for evaluation.
* Ronald G. Tidd, 68, 2155 Bells Run Road, Newport, reported Wednesday at some point during the past two days an unknowns suspect(s) stole four tires and rims for a Jeep Cherokee from outside his barn. The value of the stolen items is approximately $400.
* A passerby reported Wednesday a wooded area was on fire in the vicinity of 1400 Smith Lane in Liberty Township. The Fearing Volunteer Fire Department responded and extinguished the blaze, which spread to approximately three acres. No structures or personal property was damaged.
* Anthony Dewayne Mack, 33, 2152 Haviland Drive, Hilliard, Ohio, was processed into the Washington County Jail on Wednesday-Thursday for being in possession of a weapon while under disability, a felony. Mack was picked up at the Guernsey County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on April 15.
* On April 13, Bernard Hurst, 62, 115 Byers Road, Marietta, reported he believes an unknown male is living in one of his vacant rental properties without permission. In the home in question, Hurst observed food, an air mattress and a knife. Inspecting the scene, Deputy Sheriff Huffer noticed broken glass in an area where it appeared the suspect entered the residence. Huffer subsequently identified the suspect as Chad W. Lockrow, 40. Under questioning, Lockrow admitted entering the residence owned by Hurst on at least two occasions and to entering a vacant mobile home owned by another individual on another occasion. Lockrow was arrested on three felony counts of breaking and entering and transported to the Washington County Jail.
* On April 14, a resident on Rauch Drive in Marietta reported a disoriented female appeared at her doorstep shortly before 1 a.m. The woman appeared to be intoxicated and had dried blood under her nose and on her neck. She was unable to recall how she suffered the injuries but said she believed she fell. The Reno Volunteer Fire Department transported the victim to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment. Deputy Sheriff Hunter interviewed the woman’s live-in boyfriend and learned she left her residence on foot after an argument. Hunter determined that no crime occurred.
* On April 14, a passerby reported finding two syringes below the sign marking the intersection of Congress Road and Clement Road in Belpre Township. Deputy Sheriff McPeek recovered the syringes and designated them for destruction.
* On April 14, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Robert E. Carpenter, 41, 708 Front St., Marietta, for driving under a suspended license. During the traffic stop on Second Street in Marietta, Rhodes observed the cap of a hypodermic needle on the vehicle’s driver seat. A further search of the vehicle yielded a spoon with burn marks on the bottom, a small quantity of marijuana and a wooden box that contained marijuana and a marijuana pipe. Rhodes also charged Carpenter with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
* William Christopher Anderson, 31, 145 Booth Hollow Road, Wingett Run, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Huffer and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 14 at 1:13 p.m.
* Casey Troy Carpenter, 19, 186 Main St., Lowell, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested at the office of probation officer E. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 14 at 2:27 p.m.
* Jonathan Matthew Evans, 20, 518 Elm St., Belpre, was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor. Evans was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 14 at 5:57 p.m.
* Harry Burgett Swisher, 67, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Swisher was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 14 at 7:07 p.m.
* Robert Edward Carpenter, 41, 708 Front St., Marietta, was arrested for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation and misdemeanor charges of driving under a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs. Carpenter was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 14 at 9:04 p.m.
* David Mark Dye, 22, 5162 Oak St., Clarksburg, W.Va., was arrested for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors, near milepost 15 on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 14 at 10:37 p.m.
* Jerianne Krystal Myers, 21, 140 Clinton St., Belpre, was arrested for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Myers was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 15 at 2:54 p.m.
* Cody John Keene, 19, 231 Hillcrest Drive, Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Keene was arrested at the Office of Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 15 at 3:47 p.m.

MARIETTA – The following reports were released Friday by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
* On April 6, Christopher R. Krueger, 33, 8500 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, reported that an intoxicated subject known to him arrived at his home intoxicated and made threats toward him.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Thursday and Friday:
* Marissa Brianne Duskey, 29, 210 Sixth St., Beverly, on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor. Duskey was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Perine of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Troy Justin Mowery, 23, on warrants for probation violation, assault and contempt of court, all misdemeanors. Mowery was arrested on Ohio 7 by Patrolman Holiday of the Belpre Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Wade Nathaniel Gibbs, 21, 1200 Muskingum River Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Gibbs was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Christopher Michael Pollock, 34, 129 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for assault and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. Pollock was arrested on Muskingum Drive by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Yan Zhang, 20, 207 Fourth St., Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Zhang was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Racz of the Marietta College Campus Police and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Robert Gene Sheaves Jr., 42, 711 Front St., Marietta, for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Sheaves was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Pinkerton of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Christopher C. Kleinert, 30, 301 Pennock Drive, Beverly, for theft, a misdemeanor. Kleinert was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on April 9.
* On April 3, Kyli N. Wagner, 26, 5722 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, reported that while attempting to file income tax this year his accountant was notified by the IRS that his taxes had already been filed. This case remains under investigation.
* On April 3, Deputy Sheriff Call observed William Bartges Jr. driving a vehicle occupied by a subject with a protection order against Bartges. A traffic stop was conducted on Bartges where he was then placed under arrest for violating a protection order and transported to the Washington County Jail. Bartges was also issued a traffic citation for operating a vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
* On April 3, Deputy Sheriff Hunter arrested Christopher T. Fluhart, 265 Front Drive, New Matamoras, for breaking and entering. Through an investigation with the New Matamoras Police Department, Hunter learned that Fluhart allegedly stole a Master Torpedo heater in March from a building at 265 Holdren Lane, belonging to Lewis Grimes, 57, 46485 Ohio 7, New Matamoras. Also entered was a building at 49605 Ohio 7 belonging to a James McCoy, from which Fluhart allegedly removed a Coleman generator.
* On April 4, Deputy Sheriff Hunter responded to 2460 Wildwood Lake Road, Wildwood Raceway, Cutler, to a dirt bike accident. Members of the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department were assisting Med Light with preparing to transport Zachary Piggott, 21, 932 Pine St., Belpre, who was involved in the accident.
* On April 4, Deputy Sheriff Underwood conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 77 in Salem Township. Mohammad Ahmad Bandar, 215 Fifth St., Marietta, was issued a traffic citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.
* On April 5, Deputy Sheriff Huffer observed Brent Deeter was a passenger in a vehicle traveling near the 400 block of Greene Street in Marietta. Knowing a burglary warrant was on file for Deeter, Deputy Huffer conducted a traffic stop. When the vehicle stopped, Deeter exited the vehicle and ran from the area toward the Ohio River. After pursuing the subject Huffer was advised by pedestrians that Deeter was hiding in bushes near a business. As Huffer approached the area, Deeter exited the bushes and was taken into custody and charged with obstructing official business.
* On April 6, a Reno resident reported that unknown subject(s) had cashed one of her checks for monthly lot rent from September 2014.
* On April 6, Deputy Sheriff Reeder responded to Sheets Road, Cutler, where a vehicle belonging to Michael Stover, 60, 26511 North Street, Coolville, was on fire. Upon arrival the Wesley Volunteer Fire Department had the fire extinguished. No foul play is suspected.
* On April 7, Sgt. McGilton responded to the area of 9560 Ohio 339, Vincent, where two canines were reportedly running loose. McGilton later determined the dogs belonged to William Z. Huffman. The animals were transported to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. A summons is being requested for Huffman for failure to restrain his animals, a minor misdemeanor.
* On April 7, Deputy Sheriff Reeder met with Dana Wilson, 50, 4330 Buchannan Road, Waterford, in reference to a $302.98 bad check he received at his business, Mr. Rooter Plumbing, for work done for Dale E. Canter Jr. A warrant for Canter’s arrest was requested for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor.
* On April 8, Deputy Sheriff McKee observed a vehicle parked along Foxhaven Road, Barlow, in the lane of travel with the engine and headlights on. Deputy McKee approached the vehicle and found Ryan Scott Posker, 27, 584 Dutch Hill Road, Titusville, Pa. Posker performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests. Posker was then taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was charged with OVI.
* On April 8, a Marietta resident reported that in checking her bank statements she found numerous charges that were not made by her through a Google account totaling approximately $125.
* On April 8, Lt. Rhodes was on patrol on Ohio 555 when he observed a vehicle traveling southbound, operating in the northbound lane. Lt. Rhodes activated his emergency lights and pursued the vehicle. The vehicle arrived at 2810 Ohio 555 where the driver fled the vehicle. Witnesses advised that a male subject on foot was given a ride to the Little Hocking BP Station. Rhodes arrived at the BP Station and observed Jason L. Bartimus. Through investigation it was learned that Bartimus was the operator of the vehicle. Rhodes arrested Bartimus for failure to reinstate operator’s license and failure to comply with an officer and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
* On April 9, Jeffrey Warren, 60, 520 Cole Coffman Road, Marietta, reported a lock was removed from a building on property he owns in Washington County. Warren reported an electric cord, gas can, ratchet strap, and batteries were removed from this building, a total loss of over $300.

* William Edward Bartges Jr., 42, 210 Maple St., Newport, for violating a protection order. Bartges was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Call and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Rex Allen Mowery, 51, 518 Fifth St., Marietta, for probation violation. Mowery was arrested by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Christopher Todd Fluhart, 22, 256 Front Drive, New Matamoras, for breaking and entering, a felony. Fluhart was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Michael Richard Sobieski, 33, 784 Greene St., Marietta, for violating a protection order and aggravated arson, felonies. Sobieski was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Heather Renae Miller, 27, 100 Joe Lewis Lane, Moncks Corner, S.C., for OVI, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested at Seventh Street Speedway by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Scott Lee Carpenter, 52, 415 Third St., Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested on Muskingum Drive by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County.
* Regina Lisa Clark, 43, 205 Third St., Beverly, on a warrant for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor. Clark was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Marian Adwo Oduro, 34, 567 Southern Blvd., Bronx, N.Y., for burglary, a felony. Oduro was arrested on Front Street, Marietta by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Jonathon Howard Watson, 26, 6 Belleville Road, Washington, W.Va., on a warrant for assault, a misdemeanor. Watson turned himself in at the Washington County Courthouse and was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Gerber and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Jeffrey Paul Chaney, 34, 1637 Ford Road, Delaware, Ohio, on a warrant for nonsupport of dependents, a misdemeanor. Chaney was arrested in Delaware County by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Sean Michael Yoho, 40, homeless, on warrants for illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly/possession of chemicals and drug possession, felonies. Yoho was picked up in Georgia and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Dale Eric Canter, Jr., 31, 3049 Turkey Hen Road, Fleming, on warrants for disorderly conduct and passing bad checks, misdemeanors. Canter was arrested on Turkey Hen Road by Deputy Sheriff Bryan Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Ryan Scott Posker, 27, 584 Dutch Hill Road, Titusville, Pa., for OVI and driving under suspension, misdemeanors. Posker was on Ohio 550 by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Michelle Rae Oldfield, 48, 27400 Ohio 7, Lot 50, Marietta, on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor. Oldfield was arrested at the Washington County Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Jason Lee Bartimus, 39, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failure to reinstate O/L and failure to comply with an officer, misdemeanors. Bartimus was arrested on Ohio 550 by Lt. Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on April 3:
* On April 2, James R. Kearns, 39, 94 Township Road 1124, Proctorville, Ohio, was backing a Dodge pickup truck into a camping spot at 2729 Beach Drive, Belpre, when he struck a Ford SUV owned by Cecil F. Cook, 75, 2729 Beach Drive. The incident caused light damage to the left hood and headlight of Cook’s vehicle. The truck owned by Kearns’ employer was not damaged.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Thursday and Friday:
* Shannon Marie Lang, 34, 1111 County House Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Lang was arrested at her residence by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 2.
* Mason Michael Ruse, 19, 102 Sheridan St., Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Ruse was arrested at the probation office and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 2.
* Corey Lee Smearman, 26, 410 Fourth St., Marietta, for assault and for nonsupport of dependents, both misdemeanors. Smearman was arrested at his residence by the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on April 3.
Washington Sheriff
MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on April 2.
* On March 31, Gloria Marks, 64, 200 Pennock St., Lot 37, Beverly, reported her live-in boyfriend arrived home intoxicated and made threatening comments. Marks said her boyfriend threatened to burn down their home and slash her tires if she kicked him out and moved in with another man. Marks stated she did not fear for her safety during the incident and that no physical violence occurred. As a result, Deputy Sheriff McPeek closed this case as unfounded.
* On March 31, Chrystal Perez, 23, 763 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, reported her brother, Alberto Perez, 20, 708 Phillips St., Marietta, was at her residence and demanding to be let inside. Ms. Perez has been watching her brother’s child for a lengthy period of time and he was now upset that she would not allow him to see the child. Mr. Perez called his sister derogatory names and raised his fist at her when she threatened to call law enforcement. A neighbor intervened shortly thereafter and Mr. Perez departed the scene. Ms. Perez informed Deputy Huffer that her brother’s behavior caused her to fear for her safety. Huffer arrested Mr. Perez for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
* On March 31, Deputy Sheriff Hunter and the Bethel, Devola, Fearing, Graysville, Little Muskingum and Salem volunteer fire departments were dispatched to a large brush fire on the property of Steven Hendershot, Dalzell Road, Whipple. The fire covered approximately four acres on the property and could have been caused by hot embers that were left over from a pile of debris that Hendershot burned two days earlier. No structures were damaged.
* On March 31, Jennifer Stehly, 27, 30 Stehly Lane, Lowell, reported at some point during the past two days, she believes a household member stole $210 from a tip jar she keeps in her room. This case remains under investigation.
* On March 31, Michaela D. Lawson, 28, 508 Sixth St., Lowell, reported her husband, William, 28, assaulted her twice during the past two days. Two days earlier, Lawson said her husband was intoxicated and grabbed her forcefully by both arms. Sgt. Anderson observed marks on Lawson’s arms consistent with her story. In the second incident, Lawson said her husband had been consuming alcohol, grabbed her by the throat and would not allow her to leave the home. Lawson escaped after she was able to contact a family member, who then contacted law enforcement. Anderson arrested Mr. Lawson for two counts of domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail. At the jail, Mr. Lawson tested .091 BAC.
* On March 31, the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department transported a 47-year-old Evans Street resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment to injuries. The victim is a tenant in an apartment that the fire department responded to. The victim had what appeared to be self-inflicted lacerations on both of her arms and suffered smoke inhalation when the couch in her apartment caught fire. It appears that the victim was highly intoxicated and passed out on her couch with a lit cigarette, which caught the couch on fire, officials said. The fire caused moderate damage to the apartment. At the hospital, the victim tested .300 BAC.
* On April 1, a member of the Pioneer Motorcycle Club, 234 Angle Road, Waterford, reported he recently discovered the outside air conditioning unit was stolen from outside the clubhouse. The cost to replace the unit is approximately $2,000.

* Raymond Edwin Trivett Jr., 60, 200 Pennock Drive, Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Trivett was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Sams of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Shawn Antonia Williams, 24, 693 Bedford Ave., Columbus, for three felony counts of possession of drugs. Williams was picked up at the Franklin County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Ryan Andrew Davis, 32, 106 Sacra Via, Marietta, for burglary and voyeurism, both felonies. Davis was arrested at the Corrections Reception Center by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Alberto Edel Perez, 20, 708 Phillips St., Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Perez was arrested on Mount Tom Road by Deputy Sheriff Huffer and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* William Franklin Lawson, 28, 508 Sixth St., Lowell, for two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Lawson was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Anderson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Chantae Renay Elkins, 28, 797 Congress Road, Belpre, for illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine and for child endangering, both felonies. Elkins was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Holbert of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Andrew Norman Elkins, 34, 797 Congress Road, Belpre, for illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine and for child endangering, both felonies. Elkins was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Holbert of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Garry Lee Clark Jr., 21, 84341 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Clark was arrested on Washington Street by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Robert Eugene Long, 29, 7014 W. 103rd St., Cleveland, for failing to reinstate his operator’s license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Long was picked up in Cleveland and processed into the Washington County Jail.
* Devin Devon Powers, 27, 2 Crossing Boulevard, Bluffton, S.C., for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Powers was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail.
