A single-vehicle crash this morning in Vienna has left one woman dead and a firefighter with a minor injury.
According to Wood County 911, a call about a single-vehicle accident in front of the Vienna Walmart came in at 4:08 a.m.
The driver was transported to the hospital where they later died. The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department and the Vienna Police Department confirmed the driver was a woman.
A firefighter received a minor injury on scene, was transported to the hospital and released after treatment, according to the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.
The identity of the driver has not been released.
