PARKERSBURG -- Officials are closing down both the southbound and northbound traffic on Grand Central Ave. after a transformer pole caught on fire.
The incident happened at the Speedway station at 1604 Grand Central Ave.
Emergency crews on the scene reported the pole was completely compromised, prompting the action to close the road as crews moved in.
