PARKERSBURG – Authorities have recovered the body of a white male from beneath the Fifth Street Bridge near Gale Ave.
The Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Parkersburg Fire Department and other first responders are on scene after a call came in of a person in the water. No further details are yet available.
The Parkersburg Police Department is leading the investigation.
