One dead in Polk Street fire

One person is reported dead in a structure fire today at 2707 Polk St., Parkersburg, Fire Chief Jason Matthews said.

Fire crews and the Parkersburg Police Department remain on the scene. Matthews said the West Virginia Fire Marshal will be contacted.
