VINCENT — Four students from Warren High School will participate in the Ohio Music Educators Association All State Choir.
They are Chloe Rader, Grace Randall, Aaron Edgell and Jeremy Lee.
About 160 choral students and 80 band students from across the state of Ohio have been chosen to sing and play for the Ohio Music Educators Professional Development Conference to be held Jan. 30-Feb. 1 at the Cincinnati Convention Center.
The selection process is precise. Students prepared a required piece, made a CD and then submitted it to a committee divided by section (soprano, alto, tenor and bass).
Their name was then removed and their CD was given a number. The committee then listened to the CD and then a choir of students were selected. The student, school and location and if they privately studied were unknown to the committee.
Rader is a senior and the daughter of Donald Rader of Belpre. She is a four-year member of the Treble Chorus and A Cappella choirs.
She has participated in the Festival Choir, District IX Honors Choir, the select Cruise Choir and Solo/Ensemble Contest where she has received superior ratings. Rader also sings the national anthem at sporting events and participates in the Actors Guild Builder performances.

She has participated at the district and state levels with the choirs and has received superior ratings. Randall plays volleyball and is active in her church.

Edgell has been selected to sing the national anthem at the Cleveland Cavaliers games for the past four years. He also plays football.
Lee is a senior and the son of Catherine and Jeff Lee of Marietta. He has been a four-year member of both the Bass Chorus and A Cappella choirs and the Warren handbell choir.
Lee has participated in Solo Ensemble Contest receiving superior ratings. He also has participated at the district and state levels with the choirs receiving superior ratings.
