Shopper wins $100 gift card in Red, White and News promotion

PARKERSBURG -- A shopper from Vienna received a gift card in a promotion with Piggly Wiggly and The Parkersburg News and Sentinel.

Emily Martin received the card valued at $100 for her participation in the Red, White and News promotion, Phil Waterman, director of circulation for The News and Sentinel, said.

In the Red, White and News promotion, shoppers at local Piggly Wiggly grocery stores received a newspaper when their bill was $25 or more. The offer was good on Sunday, too, for the coupon-packed Sunday newspaper.

"This is the third time that The Parkersburg News and Sentinel has partnered with Piggly Wiggly for this promotion," Waterman said. "Any Piggly Wiggly shopper was welcomed to submit an entry form in any of the four local stores to be eligible to win the $100 prize."

The promotion started on May 28 and ended June 30.

"Keep your eyes on The News and Sentinel for the announcement of the next promotion," Waterman said.
