Volunteers sought to place flags throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley

PARKERSBURG -- Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices/Real Estate Center is looking for volunteers to help place 10,000 American flags in various locations throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley to celebrate Independence Day.

Each year, the business provides 10,000 American flags to place in the community to celebrate July Fourth and honor past and current members of the military.

The business would like to grow this project over the next few years to include as many households as possible, said Linda McLean of Berkshire Hathaway. As long as supplies last, Berkshire Hathaway is offering free flags to any individual or group who wants to place flags in their neighborhoods or other locations. Then pick up the flags later and place them again next year.

To reserve flags, call Linda McLean at 304-428-7653 or talk to any Berkshire Hathaway associate.
