PARKERSBURG -- Madison Elementary School today will celebrate its first-ever Leadership Day.
The "Leader in Me" school has used the book by Stephen Covey "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" to teach students at all levels how to develop positive attitudes, help others and adapt to new situations.
Students participated in a practice Leadership Day Wednesday, putting on skits, playing music and teaching lessons to an audience of parents and family members.
The community presentation will be held today at 1 p.m. at the school.
