VIENNA -- About 1,400 electrical customers in Vienna were without power for a couple of hours Saturday night.
Officials with MonPower said a car hit an electrical pole at the corner of 28th Street and Grand Central Avenue at around 9:10 p.m. Saturday which knocked out the power to a number of surrounding homes. Crews responded and had the power restored to all customers by 11:02 p.m., the officials said.
A message to the Vienna Police Department regarding details of the accident was not immediately returned Sunday.
