Science fiction film holds casting call in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG -- A casting call for a science fiction film titled "Virt" was held Saturday at the Dils Center.
Director Rich Rule of Dizzyboy Productions said the movie is going to have a feel similar to "The Matrix."
"It is about virtual coding," he said. "To fix the code, Joe Wilson, the main character, must go into the virtual world. He goes in and finds out there is another person in the virtual world hacking, stalking and killing people, and he has to stop it," Rule said.
People tried out for the five main roles on Saturday, but there will be other smaller roles and background people still needed.
"I am projecting that we start mid to late February and be done by the end of this year," Rule said.
