Memorial Health Foundation to hold fashion benefit

MARIETTA — Each year, the Memorial Health Foundation holds one of its most anticipated fund-raising events–the Fashion Show, benefitting Strecker Cancer Center. With a new theme every year, attendees dress up, enjoy food, drinks, silent auctions and local fashions modeled by some of the community’s patients of Strecker Cancer Center. This year’s theme will be Kentucky Derby and will be held May 9, at the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center at Marietta College. This year’s fashions come from Teri Ann’s, Emleigh’s and Mama B’s, Hornor & Harrison, Peyton & Peppy Boutique, LuLa Roe, Sugar Maple Boutique and Tractor Supply Company. Preston’s Beauty Academy will style the models’ hair and do their make-up.

“This event has become something that community members and health system employees look forward to every year. It has grown so much over the years and makes me very proud to be a part of something to help Strecker Cancer Center’s patients. They’re the real stars of this night and they deserve to be celebrated,” states Daneka Hedges, Executive Director of Memorial Health Foundation.
