PARKERSBURG -- WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center will hold a Senior Health Expo 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Pointe Conference Center.
The expo will offer residents lab work, health screenings and information and demonstrations from more than 50 health-related vendors and Camden Clark service lines.
The best value on lab work in the Mid-Ohio Valley will be offered, Joyce Hubner, Camden Clark Lifetime Partners program manager, said.
"We want everyone to be able to live a healthy, productive life. That's why we are offering this event to help them get the best possible low price on blood work, health screenings and be educated about the many services available to them through us and the vendors who'll be with us that day," Hubner said. "WVU Medicine Camden Clark is bringing everything you need to be your healthiest self under one roof at Grand Pointe, and people of all ages are invited and welcome to attend."
A 12-hour fast is required for most blood tests.
Lab screenings include the following list:
* Multi-phasic -- $25 (includes CBC, CMP and lipid profile)
* Cholesterol Profile -- $10 (HDL, LDL, triglycerides)
* PSA -- $5 (prostate cancer screening)
* Hemoglobin A1c -- $5 (diabetic maintenance screening)
* Thyroid Function -- $5
* Glucose Check -- $3
* Bone Density Foot Scan for Osteoporosis -- $5
Free health screenings include:
* Blood Pressure
* Stroke
* Balance (by First Settlement Physical Therapy)
* Diabetic Foot Exams
