Barlow Christmas on Saturday
BARLOW — With a total of 250 vendors and 33 stops, local residents will have an excellent opportunity for Christmas shopping at the annual Barlow Area Christmas in the Village on Saturday.
This marks the 11th year since founder Susie Ashley started the community event. According to Ashley the progressive shopping day will start in Barlow then go to Bartlett, to Cutler, to Little Hocking, to Porterfield, to Veto, to Vincent, and then back to Barlow. Shoppers will have the opportunity to stop by a variety of local businesses, such as the White Oak Pharmacy and the Village Cakery in Barlow for specials.
Along with local businesses and restaurants, shoppers can also visit several craft shows at locations such as the Barlow Library and Lazy H Farms in Vincent from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
A variety of jewelers, woodworkers and other crafters with homemade items will be featured at all of the 10 craft show stops.
A list of all the participating businesses and craft show locations can be found on the event’s website at barlowchristmas.com.
With a full day of shopping, a nice break for a free lunch at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Vincent is available.
“The lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,” said Ashley.
