NEWSROOM OPENINGS

•Reporter
The Parkersburg News and Sentinel is seeking a full-time evening shift reporter, covering crime and the police beat, breaking news and general assignments. This is normally a 3-11 p.m., M-F shift, but applicants must be willing to work occasional weekends or holidays if needed. Applicants must have own transportation. Photography experience a plus. The job is a full-time position offering medical, dental and vision insurance as well as paid vacation and holidays plus a 401k plan. CIRCULATION POSITIONS

•Customer Service Representative - Part Time
Must have high energy, a friendly disposition and great phone etiquette. This positions encompasses inbound and outbound phone calls. Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Attention: Phil Waterman - pwaterman@newsandsentinel.com

•Home Delivery District Manager - Full Time
This position manages the daily delivery of newspapers, interacts with customers to resolve delivery issues, interviews and handles distributor contracts and the acquisition of new business/home delivery customers. This position encompasses both blue collar and white collar aspects with sales and customer relations as well as in the field work. Delivering newspapers is a great way to pick up some extra cash. Carriers work in the morning to deliver newspapers to an establish group of customers and can earn extra money by gaining more customers on their routes.
