Gov. Patrick Morrisey gave brief remarks Thursday following his ride on the America 250 Big Wheel, the world’s largest portable Ferris wheel. Joining Morrisey (pictured left to right) were First Lady Denise Morrisey, West Virginia National Guard Adj. Gen. Jim Seward and his wife Leslie Seward.

The America 250 Big Wheel, a Ferris wheel that is free to ride during the Capitol City Celebration Thursday through Sunday, provides riders a eye-in-the-sky view of the State Capitol Building and the surrounding Kanawha Valley.
