Deem aces Mingo Bottom Cookie Deem, of Mineral Wells, recorded his first career-high hole-on-one on Monday at Mingo Bottom Golf Club. Deem used an 8-iron to ace the 112-yard, par-3, No. 10 hole from the senior tees. The feat was witnessed by Dean Thorn, Darrin Roberts and Paul Roberts. Hole-in-one for Chambers at Oxbow Richard Chambers of Parkersburg had a hole in one at Oxbow Golf Course. He used a nine iron to ace the 100 yard par 3 fourth hole. His feat was witnessed by, Roger Stephenson, Tom Black, and Joe Crislip.

Albatross

Keefe records albatross at GCWV Ryan Keefe from Parkersburg recorded his very first albatross at the Golf Club of West Virginia. Keefe used a 5-wood on his second shot from 230 yards on the par 5, 510-yard ninth hole. The feat was witnessed by Mark ‘Brooksie” Brooks.
