Ellis Aces River Greens Dan Ellis, of Devola, recorded his first ever hole-in-one Tuesday at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio. Ellis aced hole No. 25, a 110-yard par 3, using an A wedge. The shot was witnessed by Jeff Reisenberger, Darrin Tippens and Steve Marks.

Pioneer men’s soccer picked 7th in OAC

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The Marietta College men's soccer team was picked to finish seventh in the Ohio Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, released Wednesday (August 19) morning by the league office. The Pioneers posted a 5-12-2 record last fall and finished with a 2-6 record in the OAC. Ohio Northern is the slight preseason favorite to lead the OAC in 2026.
