Glenville routs WV Wesleyan in regular season finale
BUCKHANNON — Glenville State accumulated an absurd 613 yards of total offense as the Pioneers concluded the 2025 regular season with a 56-16 win over West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday.
Anthony Garrett completed 19 of 27 pass attempts for 362 yards and threw five touchdowns — two to Amari Colon-Brown and one apiece to Tariq Miller, Sean Elmore and Naseem Pacheco. Miller led all receivers with 116 yards on three receptions.
Jeremiah King powered an effective GSU ground game, carrying 21 times for 129 yards and two TDs.
Also finding the end zone for Mike Kellar’s Pioneers (6-5) was Zachary Colimon, who scored from 1 yard out with 1:53 left in the contest to round out the scoring.
Clarence Currin found the end zone twice for Wesleyan, which finished winless at 0-11. Currin caught an 8-yard TD pass from Logan Landers and also ran for a 1-yard score. The hosts also received three points via Alexander DeHart’s 22-yard field goal to cut it to 28-16 at halftime.
However, Glenville scored 28 unanswered points to close the game.
