PARKERSBURG — Milo Deem brought home a big win at the USA National Cycling Championships in Mountain Bike Enduro, held earlier this summer at North American Enduro Cup at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg, Idaho.

Racing in Men’s Expert 17-18 Class, one of the fastest and most competitive divisions just below Men’s Pro, Deem posted standout times throughout the weekend. While his focus is having fun and enjoying the sport, his achievements open the door to future pro-level racing opportunities around the world.

Deem, son of Jason and Amanda (Hayes) Deem (PSHS Class of 1996), started riding at age 2, inspired and encouraged by his parents, sister Emma, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and a wide circle of friends and family from West Virginia, Colorado and beyond.

Now based in Durango, Colo., Milo trains with Team Durango Devo. He’s coached by Rob Nichols and Shane Ellis, who are continually impressed by Milo’s dedication and positive attitude.

Milo’s sponsors include Team Durango, Devo, Transition Bicycles, Stan’s Wheels, and his biggest supporters are his mom and dad.

Though Milo isn’t the first generation of the Deem family not born in Parkersburg, he proudly sends a big hello to all of Parkersburg and his West Virginia family.

Starting at $2.99/week.
