MORGANTOWN — Williamstown put an exclamation mark on the Class AA/A , Region 2 Tennis Tournament by qualifying two doubles teams in both the girls and boys divisions for next week’s state tournament in Charleston.

The top two placewinners from Thursday’s individual doubles bracket advanced. On the boys side, Bradyn Woodard and Issac Harris defeated teammates Gavin Hill and Brady Anderson 8-2 in the finals.

Woodard and Harris dropped just one game in four matches leading up to the championship match.

For the Williamstown girls, Peyton and Addison Woodard defeated Yellowjacket teammates Ashtyn McIntyre and Gabriella Holl 8-6 in the finals. The Woodburn sisters dropped just three games in four matches leading up to the championship match.
