Post 15 beats Wheeling, 7-4, for sixth straight win

WHEELING — Eli Reeves went the distance and allowed five singles and two earned runs with three walks and seven strikeouts to help lift Parkersburg Post 15 to a 7-4 victory here Tuesday against Wheeling Post 1.

Parkersburg, winners of six straight with a 7 p.m. game set for today versus Marietta Post 64 at Marietta College, improved to 14-5 despite a quartet of errors for manager Mike Goodwin’s club.

Reeves, who was 2 for 2 with a double, was joined by Dylan Holliday with two runs-batted in. Brett Haskins and Nic Menarchek also had two hits and scored two runs each for Parkersburg, which also received an RBI apiece from Bentley Kinzer, Drew Woofter and Brodie Wiggins.
