MOV Parent: Dedication is very important in our students’ lives

Children in general play a huge role in parents' lives. So every time I read something that I think will benefit our children or grandchildren, I let them read it. So, in this Friday's article, since it's for children, I will encourage you: once you read my article, either let the young ones in your house read it, or read to them. If not at home, take a picture with your cell phone, email it to them, or text it to them.

Technology is so much superior than when we were young. Growing up, I didn't have a cell phone, iPad, computer, or calculator (it's not because we couldn't afford it; it was just not popular like it is now).

We had our books to read, notebooks and pencils to write, and our brains to figure things out and think ...What the kids do now is write the question, and the computer gives them the answer. To me, that is not learning; that is cheating and fooling themselves. Dedication is very important in our students' lives. It means giving our time, effort, and attention to something we truly care about. It helps us stay committed even when progress seems slow. I hope children understand that success does not come overnight. It's a consistent effort and always continuing to work when things become difficult. Dedication also teaches us discipline and responsibility. Life becomes more rewarding once you stay focused, keep working, and trust that your effort will bring you closer to your dreams.

So life is a journey; keep going forward. Do not stop because of problems; every problem makes you stronger. Learn from your past. Focus on your future; take more steps every day. If you keep going forward, you will reach your destination. Remember that talent is important, but without determination, talent is useless. With strong determination, you can overcome any obstacle and achieve anything in life. So never stop chasing your dreams, and your future is in your hands.

Everyone has doubts and makes mistakes; that is normal, but what makes the difference is that people who believe in themselves do not give up; they learn from their mistakes and keep trying. That's so important; you can do the same: believe in your skills and your dreams. Tell the children that they're capable of more than they think, and they can achieve great things, and having faith in their abilities can make them braver and more positive.

Some suggestions for them will be:

Children, and that can be the same for adults:

Trust yourself enough to begin

Stay calm when life is difficult

Stay away from unnecessary conflict

Focus on solutions, not blame

You don't have to prove your strength to everyone; keep growing and for sure keep going.

Make sure to use willpower every day; for example, you show willpower when you study instead of watching more videos, when you exercise instead of staying in bed, or when you save money instead of spending it; these small choices can lead to big results over time.

Life is full of distractions; it can be easy to give up, feel lazy, or choose the short and easy way, but willpower helps you say no to things that are not good for you and say yes to what really matters. All of the above are great lessons for the children, and they will thank you later on in life.

In the meantime, you have a wonderful and restful weekend. Enjoy the beautiful days and the cold evenings.
