Kiki’s Corner: Friendship is one of life’s greatest gifts
Trending
As we go through life, we realize how important friendship is in good times, sad times and difficult times.
Good friends are one of life's greatest gifts. They don't have to be perfect. As time goes by, you begin to realize that every day is just another page in the story of our lives. There are things in life that we never understand until it's too late. Many books are written with long stories, and some are only given a few pages.
Life has different stages. Some days you wake up with someone missing from your life. I know it is sad and time keeps moving, but the memories never leave. You carry them in the quiet moments, and you continue to live without them.
Some losses never truly fade. None of us know which page will be the last or when we will reach the end. That's when we need friends and family.
Life in general gets busy; replies get delayed. But we know the bond is still there. No matter how much time passes, the care is still there.
Real friends are special, and when we find them, we need to hold on tight. Good friends leave footprints. They celebrate your success and stand by you when life gets hard.
Friendship is very important in our lives. We all need to try to become the best version of ourselves and inspire those around us. It's not who has the most fame or money. That doesn't matter, but good character and the ability to make others happy do.
A good person and a good friend always respects people, works hard and spreads positivity everywhere. They're also kind, honest and always try to help their friends.
Life is full of challenges, some good and some bad, but we should never stop believing in ourselves, never give up and always reach out to a good friend for kind and meaningful advice.
Many times it's very normal to feel sad and disappointed, but never give up. You need to be strong, stay positive and believe in God to give you strength to go on.
I realize everyone is busy. Everyone has responsibilities and their own battles to fight, so when someone consistently chooses to spend their time with you, checks on you and makes space for you in their life, it means something. Time is one thing we can never get back, so when someone chooses to spend their time with you, don't take it for granted. It's one of the purest ways people say "you're matter to me" without even having to say the words.
Never lose hope. Hope is a powerful way that helps us overcome challenges, difficulties and sadness. It also gives us courage to keep moving forward even when things seem impossible.
Life is not always easy; however, faith and, again, good friends remind us that better days are ahead of us. Hope inspires positivity and strength during difficult times. So keep your hope alive, trust in yourself, and believe that everything can come when you have patience and make an effort. That is what I say to myself every day, but we need to prepare ourselves ahead of time for those challenges. Some of them are not easy to overcome, but we need to keep our mind strong and our heart determined.
Next week, school starts and here is a prayer for all our students in the Mid- Ohio Valley:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, bless our children as they begin school next week. Open their minds to learn, give them wisdom and understanding, and help them to do their best.
Bless the teachers, classmates and families. Help them to be kind, patient and respectful, and keep them all safe throughout the day. Please guide them and help them always follow your way and protect them!
Good luck students have a great year!
Many blessings to all!
Till next week
