Kiki’s Corner: Don’t waste time
Spring is finally here and with bright and sunny warm days, all we need is to take the time to be grateful.
Being grateful daily brings peace, happiness, and positivity into life and we need to appreciate what we have. Our minds become calm and satisfied. Every morning we need to take the time to thank God for health, family, food and opportunities. Even small things deserve appreciation. Grateful people spread kindness and joy to others. When you practice gratitude regularly, life feels more meaningful and full of hope no matter what challenges come your way. As individuals, we all need to prepare ourselves for life’s challenges, positive attitude and discipline.
That is one thing for sure as an adult we need to practice and try to improve ourselves every day. I know at times it’s not easy, but we need to keep our mind strong. When we do that we would gain confidence and strength. Every morning, I try my best to take a few minutes to plan my day. It’s not always easy. Some days are harder than others, and it’s funny how I manage to have notes in every room and at the end of the day when I check they’re not all done, but there’s always the next day, plus I add more to it. LOL.
Believe it or not, it seems like I accomplish more if I have 10 things on my list than when I have two or three. You figure that out. I guess because I move faster and I know it takes more time to finish all those. One thing for sure: stop complaining because it does not solve problems. JUST DO IT! Find solutions and focus. When I finish one task, I feel proud and motivated. It’s a small habit, but it makes a big difference. At the end of my day I read my notes and when I see I made progress, I say to myself “Good job Kiki, keep going don’t give up. You have more to do.” LOL.
Something else that’s very important to me is to read every day. It improves my mind and life and I know daily reading increases knowledge and serpents thinking skills. It helps me personally improve my language or or I should say languages and at times reduce stress and improve concentration even a few minutes of reading a day would gain experience and confidence in writing skills. One more thing I want to share with you, that confidence is very important to a person’s life. It helps make decisions, saying and expressing thoughts clearly. A person that has confidence stays strong, even in difficult situations and keeps trying without giving up. Of course confidence grows with practice, learning and experience, and in general, we need to believe in ourselves that way, we can perform better if you’re in a business world or in general. In everyday life, have you ever felt that you have so much to do and not enough time in a day? Have you ever felt that you wish there were more hours in a day to do everything you wanted to do? People who respect time are often more organized, productive and successful in life. Wasting time leads to regret, missed opportunities and unfulfilled goals .
Time management helps us balance work, study, and rest properly, so therefore we should always value our time.
Enough of all that I better start thinking about what I’m going to do first: clean my closet, organize my bedroom or cleaning my backyard, so now it’s time for me to organize on top of all my time, because at the end of the day, I don’t want to be upset with myself.
