After months of preparation and tireless weekly meetings with my wonderful committee we are down to one week left.
The West Virginia Symphony League-Parkersburg is getting ready to bring up to the stage our biggest fundraiser of the year, “Fall into Fashion.” On Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Parkersburg Art Center on Market Street, doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event starts at 6 p.m. Fashion will be provided by the best four stores in our area, Hornor & Harrison, Teri Ann’s, Crown Decor & Gifts, and jewelry by Baker & Baker. Tickets are still available for $40 or $45 at the door. You can call Terry at 304-481-0364 or Carla at 304-482-9503 to purchase your tickets or to purchase a table of eight people.
It will be a spectacular event along with entertainment, and it’s magical the support that we’re getting from businesses, individuals, league members, and sponsors.
Having a huge production like that takes a lot of energy, participation and ideas from all of my 16 symphony league committee members and also community involvement. We can’t thank enough all the 13 restaurants that are providing heavy appetizers and we might as well say dinner, also we will provide two cash bars with beer, wine, and signature drinks plus wine pull. Baker & Baker is donating a 14-carat yellow gold tanzanite bracelet valued at $1,850 to sell tickets the night of the event and the drawing will be at the end of the fashion show! So you don’t want to miss it ….purchase your tickets today.
