Teachers are doing a great job teaching and guiding our children however it is also our responsibility as parents and grandparents to support and aid and emphasize for them to always be truthful.

It is a show and tell thing as they say “monkey see, monkey do”!!

So refrain from discussing anything you do not want repeated or to hear about later on.

Children are innocent and do not always think or realize what they should or should not repeat or tell.

Always tell them and insist that they always speak the truth on things and avoid situations where they end up having to lie on this when they are at a young age.

This will establish a positive way of avoiding them as they grow older not to resort to telling fibs even if they are small ones.

Good parents need to avoid arguing or talking negatively in the presence of your child for they observe everything they hear even if you do not realize or think so.

Therefore, always be truthful, honest and think positively to avoid embarrassment and hard feelings keeping in mind we always need to guide and teach and make us proud of our children.

Sadly with life today many parents do not have the time to spend enough quality time with their child due to work, school activities, and so on… leaving very little time to relax…. As parents however it is a must we work to find time for our children since we are responsible since they are the seeds we are the planter and we want to see them come out like the flowers we plant and want them to be beautiful, to grow up straight, and to be proud to say “this is my child!”

Be sure to always praise your child, tell them how proud you are of them and how much you love them.
