Use that air fryer with new cookbook

For those trying out the Keto diet, and want a simple recipe to make in it instead of just french fries (which I have been guilty of) comes the new book, “I Love My Air Fryer Keto Diet 5-Ingredient Recipe Book” by Sam Dillard.

The beauty of this cookbook is the faster prep time, having it be only 5 ingredients, and things also tend to cook faster in the air fryer.

The book contains recipes for every meal, with breakfast, dinner, appetizers and snacks, side dishes and desserts, all quick to prepare and cook, as well as on the Keto diet.

I enjoyed trying out this cookbook. I really haven’t used my air fryer for much, except heating up some frozen food, and it has sat lonely on my kitchen counter while my Instant Pot gets all the love and use. But with this book, I quickly found out that it is a great way to cook pork chops. I made the Butter Pork Chops recipe, which just uses salt and pepper as seasoning, and then letting a small amount of butter melt over the pork chops after they cook. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by how good they tasted, and I may never cook pork chops any other way now. I also made green beans seasoned with some olive oil and salt and pepper from the book as well. These cooked to a nice crisp-tender, and were seasoned perfectly. Cooking vegetables in the air fryer was good too and a nice option to have. Sometimes cooking a side dish is just one more thing no one wants to do, and this was so hands off, I think it might change some minds. Those on the diet will enjoy also having a variety of new recipes to try.
