For the past year, Downtown PKB's Downtown Development Committee has been discussing the idea of coordinating TV commercials that features our family-owned downtown restaurants. We know what a treasure we have in downtown and the value they bring to our community. We wanted to assist our restaurant owners with an opportunity to promote their business to a larger advertising market. So, a couple of months ago we began discussing our idea with WTAP and Tony Brown with Brown Owl Imaging.
With their help, along with buy in from four of our downtown restaurants, we were able to take our idea and turn it into two thirty-second commercials that you can now see running on WTAP, FOX Parkersburg and CBS (WIYE). We are pleased with how they turned out and hope you can see from those commercials why we feel our restaurants are one of our biggest assets. With thirteen family-owned restaurants, including four international restaurants, a microbrewery, fine dining establishments and many wonderful lunch and dinner options, you are sure to find your new favorite meal or place to have drinks with friends. Featured in the commercials are Downtown Parkersburg Maka Mia, Parkersburg Brewing Company, The Blennerhassett Hotel Restaurant and Lounge and The Cocktail Bar. Commercials will continue to run through the end of February.
