As the 2026 West Virginia primary election approaches, I would like to encourage voting for Andrew Borkowski in the West Virginia District 11 Republican primary race. I have served with Andrew for over a decade on the Wood County Parks and Recreation Commission and have watched him give his time and energy for the betterment of the citizens of Wood County in many ways, both within the framework of this volunteer board and for his constituents as an elected Parkersburg city councilman for District 8 and as the current Parkersburg City Council president.

Andrew is energetic, well-spoken, independent-minded while still being collaborative, and he makes principled choices that balance what is right and fair with the goal of achieving the greatest good for the greatest number of people. He is pro-business, for economic development, for educational opportunities for all, for quality-of-life improvements, and he prioritizes investment in Mid-Ohio Valley infrastructure. Andrew has never been afraid to take on challenging tasks and is more than willing to do the hard work that representing the public requires.

Andrew Borkowski is also a dedicated supporter of both his community and causes that he believes in as well as a good father and a hard-working businessman. I believe he has a bright future as a public servant and the necessary personal and professional traits to represent well the citizens of District 11 in the West Virginia House of Delegates.
