Letter to the Editor: Criss dedicated to solving state’s problems
I have been involved in Republican politics in Wood County and in West Virginia for over 28 years of my life. I have served as a county chairman, as secretary for the state party and a state party vice chairman. So having been committed to this cause for all these years, you can only imagine the feeling that I had when hearing another absurd attack advertisement calling Vernon Criss a Republican in name only “Rino.”
Vernon Criss has been instrumental in helping local farmers obtain money for drought relief; helping the state of West Virginia live within its means and manage its affairs sensibly; helping to promote common sense solutions to many of our state’s problems.
In closing, the citizens of Vernon’s district should and will decide to send him back to Charleston or not based on his record, not based on the outlandish views of the Charleston political machine and its big money donors.
I encourage you to gather as much factual information as possible and make up your own mind what is best for Wood County and West Virginia.
