There is a little known effort called the P2P initiative, a cooperation between Pennsylvania and West Virginia to build a 180-mile-long rail trail connecting Pittsburgh’s Point Park to the Point at Parkersburg.

To complete this trail as part of a 1,500 mile network from New York to Ohio requires a cooperative effort by all transversed by the trail, including Wood County and the City of Parkersburg, both burdened by unfinished gaps in the trail.

If wanting to make the MOV bright and prosperous again, it is vital to finish our portions of this trail by linking Marietta to Williamstown, Vienna, Parkersburg and Ritchie County!
