Important voice silenced

I am responding to the accusation quoted in the Parkersburg newspaper, “Reynolds said Tuck has made multiple ‘slanderous remarks and posts about other council members.'” No examples have been shown.
Also, it stated that she “throws the administration and most council people under the bus.”
Reynolds said Tuck has never offered up legislation and he “can’t imagine her garnering enough support if she wanted to as likely no one would support her.”
And why is that?
Council as a whole doesn’t argue with the mayor.
Parkersburg citizens should have a voice and a say and not a council that just follows along. Wendy Tuck works very hard for District 4 and Parkersburg. She stands for the people of Parkersburg. She listens with an open mind. If she doesn’t know the answer, she will do what she can to help.
She has had “office hours” for years to let people air their concerns, which is even more important now since council has decided not to let the people air their concerns at council meetings in public forum.
I ran for city council and was the recipient of unfounded accusations and untruths. This is why I feel it is important to me to stand up for what is being done to Wendy Tuck and any other council person who doesn’t follow along with the good ole boys!
