Social Security is most certainly not a “Ponzi scheme” as alleged by Musk. It is a social insurance system and has worked very well for the people of this country.

The first Social Security check was paid in 1937. Since then a payment has never been late or missed.

Now, under the Trump administration we are beginning to hear the threat of delayed payments or a collapse of the system.
