Rejoining the MSAC. This will be good for the student athletes. They will get home in time to finish school work if they choose.

As Maria Francisco said, this will be a big cost savings for the school. Money is always unfortunately the driving factor in any decisions now. Football wise, everyone makes the playoffs. What a joke!!

This is my opinion on Ms. Francisco’s comment about playing the best. Go back year after year, I definitely think the OVAC was and will always be the best competition.

When I was head wrestling coach, I quit sending my varsity team to the MSAC for lack of competition. I started sending my second team and they won also. Soon after that, Parkersburg South got out of the MSAC and joined the OVAC. Joining the MSAC again will be good for most of our sports teams. More Ws versus Ls and what I guess is more important anymore is saving the school money.
