Wilhelm Frick, Alfred Rosenberg, Hans Fritzsche, Wilhelm Keitel, Hermann Goring and Julius Streicher — Do you know what they have in common? They weren’t the ones with the top job. They were given power by their boss and executed their orders because they were true believers and Yes Men. They were the chief architects of organized racism, propaganda and deaths of millions. They didn’t slow down the worst impulses of their leader but helped to enhance them.

This is what I fear when I see Trump getting ready to form his Cabinet. He’s learned his lesson from his first term. He won’t waste time putting in people who put country first but put those into power that will put him and his dreams first. Then whatever these people do with their free time and powerful positions, he won’t care. We’ll end up with the likes of Musk to direct who gets government contracts. Perhaps we might get a Kari Lake to shill out his propaganda to the media on a daily basis.

Trump is just a man but he’s a man that can grant power to those who do not need or deserve it. All I can recommend is to be ever vigilant.
