Another letter writer thinks the Democrats are a free-spending group. I say the Republicans know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

The Republicans have no values but are dedicated to greed. They are led by a presidential candidate who is a liar, a grifter, a fraud, a felon, a rapist, an insurrectionist, a sociopath, a serial bankrupt, racist, tax evader. Evangelicals have joined with him because he is the only kind of person who will outlaw abortion under all circumstances, a person who has no humanity. The kind of person who makes photo opportunities of him helping flood victims in their rowboats by tossing them paper towels. Obama had funded additional personnel to the CDC because there were viruses coming along, and Trump cut the increase out of the budget before the COVID virus hit, then minimized the COVID, saying it was a seasonal disease like the flu, that he did not even recommend masks or COVID shots. When COVID persisted and people were dying by the thousands, Trump recommended poisonous remedies that added to the deaths. Trump is the kind of person who conditions aid to Ukraine on their investigating his rivals. An admirer of Putin. He wants to destroy NATO which is a bargain to the U.S. in our military defense.

Trump’s disinformation about the hurricanes is very destructive and shows he is unfit to be president.

The letter writer says Harris has an unsavory lifestyle but has no idea, apparently, what is unsavory about her. I suggest that if Jesus were the judge, He might hand Harris the first stone to throw,

No one is promoting abortion. It is a judgment that should be left up to parents and physicians. Republicans fight against funding for day care, for public schools, for sex education, for birth control, school lunches, college loans, medical care, drug cost regulation, home health care, maternity leave. They are extremely pro-birth but not pro-life. They are not for the people at large but for the wealthiest two percent. The letter writer may be sadder if our nation elects Trump for the kingdom of God.
