Letter to the Editor: Alive before they breathe

(Letter to the Editor - Photo Illustration - MetroCreativeConnection)

Babies are alive in the womb, no matter what some believe. Yes, they are alive and any mother with child knows that. Life begins at conception, not when a baby takes its first breath. To say otherwise is to let people know how ignorant one really is. A baby in the womb does not have to breathe to be alive; God has provided all they need through the mother to which they are attached. If a fetus is not alive, then neither are puppies and kittens. The animal overpopulation problem could be solved by aborting them before they get to breathe air. Oh, no, the precious dogs and cats, obviously to some more precious than human life, deserve a chance to live, but not human babies. Just kill them if it is inconvenient to carry them to term.

Planned Parenthood’s primary function is abortions. A big money-maker. Why else would they get so upset at the loss of public funding if it was only a “small” part of their operation. Hit them in the pocket book and they will squeal.

The problem with the other writer and many of this age is they do not believe God is sovereign. He is in control and allows things to happen. Satan is the God of this world, at least for now. That will change.

The real problem for this world is they do not know Jesus. He is not science fiction. Most of the world has rejected Jesus. That is very sad.

Babies are proof of God’s existence, whether other writers believe it or not. When you stop the life of a creature, or abort it, it is killing it. To call it otherwise is simply foolishness. It is what it is. It is the taking of a human life, whose life begins at conception, not when taking a first breath.

If readers disagree with me, that is fine. If they have such strong opinions, then write a letter to the editor, too. Also, if there are pastors out there who can write a Sermon for the Faith Page, then do it. It is sad that the News has to put recycled sermons in each week. Come on local pastors! It is only 400 words. Stand up for Jesus, even in a Sermon of the Week.
