Wirt County High School Class of 1964 reunion/picnic was held June 22 at the Giffin Farm on Rose Hill. A meet and greet, get-acquainted session began at 11 a.m. Just before noon, a group picture (available for purchase) was taken by John Fleek of the graduates in attendance.

At noon, a delicious catered meal was prepared and served by Laird and Maria Ruble. After-dinner activities began with Mrs. Linda Murray presenting a gift specially made by Lori Gant to Tom and Mickie Marshall and Larry and Iris Smith for the graduates who traveled the farthest to attend their class reunion/picnic.

After this presentation, all veterans and law enforcement officers were recognized and presented medals for their time of service to our country.

A trivia game of our high school days was prepared by Elizabeth Tanner of the events that were happening during our high school days. (Much fun).

Door prizes were presented to all the Class of '64 graduates and their spouses.

We would like to thank the following businesses and restaurants for their donations of door prizes for our class reunion: Lowe's, South Parkersburg; Home Depot, Vienna; Walmart, Patriot Center; Sam's Club, Vienna; State Farm Insurance, Hayden Stewart, Elizabeth; Advance Auto Parts, Elizabeth; Moore's Piggly Wiggly, Elizabeth; Hardee's Restaurant, South Parkersburg; Bob Evans Restaurant, Patriot Center; Olive Garden, Vienna; Wendy's, Mineral Wells; Napoli's Restaurant, South Parkersburg; Jimmie Colombo's Restaurant; Texas Roadhouse; Arby's; Little Stirr, Vienna; Captain D's, South Parkersburg.
