Letter to the Editor: Responding to ‘Trump is right man’

The Trump is the right man letter is confusing to me because there are so many incorrect statements. Let's start with some common ground. The author and I have very limited internet presence. We know nothing of his educational, job or life experiences to support his comments. The author seems to specialize in resurrecting baseless conspiracy theories. I deal in facts that can be fact-checked. When I offer opinions, I complement them with relevant experience. I expect a reader that disagrees to present information and sources for checking. Readers that disagree with my opinions should cite relevant experience that exceeds mine for fact-checking.
Let's start with the simple stuff. The writer calls Trump a patriot. A better description is one of the three worst presidents. Fact checked! I consider the civilian that died at Butler, Pa., a hero for protecting his family. I completed my Vietnam obligation stateside as an officer. I don't consider myself a patriot. Trump got a medical deferment for bone spurs under questionable circumstances and then went skiing. If he can ski, he could slog through the rice paddies. This shows Trump's arrogance. President Trump solicits service personnel, gold star mothers, etc., when he wants their vote. Trump's contingent was in Paris and someone mentioned visiting the Aisne-Marne Cemetery approximately 60 miles away.
There was a light drizzle and Trump felt it would spoil his hair. Trump said, "Why go there?" "No one but suckers and losers there."
I guess he does not know about umbrellas; what would you expect from someone that cannot fold an umbrella to enter a plane. Moron.
In 1918, French divisions were in disarray and on the verge of mutiny. Germany broke the Russians and was bringing troops to the Marne to end the war. An [all-Black] American regiment was stationed with the French troops to stiffen the line. To their right were two American divisions. The Germans attacked, the line held, Marine Brigade seized Belleau Woods and Paris was saved.
The French offered 150+ Croix de Guerre medals to the [all-Black] regiment. I consider the living, and the dead in this cemetery real patriots!
Service personnel, friends and relatives, would you want to make the ultimate sacrifice for a "supreme commander" who cared more for his hair and authoritarian "democracy" than you?
If you agree with me, do not vote for Trump!
