Letter to the Editor: Gun grabbers seeking victory

Mexico has recently filed a lawsuit in U.S. federal court to give them and their allies in the United Nations control over U.S. gun laws. The lawsuit is against Smith and Wesson, Beretta, Colt, Ruger and other gun manufacturers for Mexico’s own failure to control their own violent drug cartels.

Mexico is demanding the court completely ban production of AR-15 and AK-47 style rifles, and demanding a list of all U.S. purchasers. Insanely, the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals gave Mexico the go-ahead to proceed with their lawsuit.

Mexico, which signed on to the U.N. Small Arms Treaty, has disarmed its own law-abiding citizens. As a result, violent drug cartels control 35% of Mexico. Instead of blaming their own terrible gun laws, Mexico is suing U.S. gun manufacturers for their violence, for “allowing” their guns to be trafficked into the hands of Mexican criminals.

Biden and the U.N. gun grabbers are all in favor of this brazen attempt to get the UNSAT installed by liberal U.S. judges without the consent of the Senate and the American people.

While Mexico blames U.S. gun manufacturers for arming their drug cartels, perhaps Biden’s ATF bears the blame for a continuation of the Obama administration’s “Fast and Furious” gun trafficking operation, which was brought to light when U.S. border patrol agent Brian Terry was murdered with one of these illegal guns.

The U.N.’s 10th conference is in August and they are laying the groundwork to force:

* All firearms manufacturers seeking to export their products acquire permission.

* All treaty countries allow their firearms manufacturers to be sued for crimes committed with their products.

* All countries involved in the export of firearms, the U.S. included, establish a “National Control System,” a gun registry.

Mexico’s case shows how serious the U.N. is about forcing the UNSAT on the U.S. while they still have Puppet Biden in the White House.

If Mexico’s case gets to the Supreme Court, it will take years, which the Biden administration is banking on. By that time, the Biden administration hopes on having a less gun-friendly Supreme Court. Radical Democrats have been threatening to pack the court throughout the Biden administration.

If Biden is re-elected in 2024, and the Democrats retain control of the Senate, the worse is yet to come. My source of information is the National Association for Gun Rights.
