Letter to the Editor: Majority for change

I would like to thank family, friends and residents of District 6 for supporting me in my campaign for city council. I thoroughly enjoyed door-to-door, one-on-one discussions.

In following campaign rules, I am proud of running a fair and ethical race. Losing by 13 votes was not a loss with the third candidate votes. It shows the majority want a change.

I will be supporting Brenda Brum in the general election, confident she also will campaign fairly and ethically. Brenda lives and has worked in Parkersburg and deeply cares for our city and will bring the change needed and fresh air to the running of our city.
