What is the deal with Bronny James? His father is an NBA player. Bronny has done absolutely nothing personally to warrant his getting a workout with NBA teams, as he has accomplished zero in his basketball career. He is not even a starter on his college team. He averages about 4 points or so.
Why should he even get a look from any NBA team? There are plenty of college players and also high school players light years ahead of him in ability and accomplishments that will not get a workout. Who does he think he is to turn down offers from 8 teams?
What he is, is the son of an NBA great, in basketball skills at least. LeBron James is a freak of nature in stature, strength and abilities.
NBA players generally contribute nothing to society as a whole and are extremely selfish. Yes, they can shoot a basketball, but so what. That on a job application means nothing.
Bronny James simply wants to play in the NBA and perhaps with his father and other teams will try to lure LeBron by signing his son. What a miscarriage of something.
In life we have to accomplish things on our own accord, not by grabbing on the coattails of our parents. Having a famous or distinguished parent might get you an interview, but it is your communication skills, your answers to questions, and your general demeanor that will win the job for you. Not because you are someone's son or daughter. You are the one who must present yourself in the best light possible. You must provide your own light, not the reflected light of a relative.
Bronny James has earned nothing yet, and maybe will never earn what he thinks he deserves. Far too often, the current generation thinks they deserve what they have not earned. Young people applying for jobs think they deserve the same pay as someone who has toiled for 30 plus years to achieve. Where do they get such an attitude? Well, probably from their parents and friends who have told them their whole life that they are special, are wonderful, are God's gift to the world.
People have to start at the bottom and work their way up. Some will stay at the bottom. That is just the way it is. Life is not always fair. Get used to it.
