There is talk today in the news about a wealth limit. Should people only be allowed to make/accrue so much money, and then some of it be taken to fix the income inequality among people?
That is utter stupidity and straight from socialism. Spreading the wealth around does not and will not work. Suppose a doctor, lawyer, teacher, nurse or whoever makes a lot more money than someone down the street. Should some money be taken from each of them to "even things out?" Of course not. We live in a free capitalist society, where each of us can make as much money as we can, or conversely, as little as we can. This is America and not Russia. Each person has to take responsibility for themselves, get sufficient education or training to support themselves and a family if they have one. It is not my responsibility to help support the poorer neighbors in my area. I might feel sorry for them to a certain extent, but I do not know how they spend their money. Suppose they spend a lot of their available funds on alcohol and cigarettes, and then do not have enough resources to adequately take care of their needs. Is that my fault?
To propose such a plan or system is simply insane and should be rejected quickly. Who, in their right mind, would propose something like that?
Well, the liberals, of course. They think the solution to income inequality is by taking from those who have and giving to those who have not, or choose to have not.
What an idiotic idea, straight from the deluded minds of persons like AOC and Bernie. They are both clueless as to what is going on.
America has sufficient energy resources, yes, coal, oil, and natural gas. Biden and his minions think that forcing America to go total electric vehicles will work. Well, you have to plug the car in someplace and where does the magic electricity to recharge come from? From a power plant, DUH!
Also, these commercials about a plug-in hybrid are crazy. How do you recharge? I have a hybrid that recharges itself when it needs to. Plugging in to charge equals about $10 or so equal to a gallon of gas. Those elites in D.C. have no clue about spending for a family, and about managing your money. Time for a change.
