Letter to the Editor: Beware of Trump
Trending
It is absolutely astounding that any candidate of the Republican party would align himself (herself) with the labels of being endorsed by Trump, being pro-Trump, or that his/her values are supported by Trump.
The term conservative used to hold some value, but why would anyone want to hitch their wagons to a convicted rapist and a person who has been charged with 88 counts of criminal conduct including insurrection, fraud, and trying to overthrow our election process?
Trump has already announced that he will be a dictator on the "first day." That is all the time he needs to overthrow our constitutional rights and give himself absolute power with a Republican Congress to back him. He has also admitted he will free all insurrectionists, and he will pardon himself from any liability and charges.
It is so insulting to think that these candidates promote themselves to West Virginia citizens by identifying their values as being with Trump, being pro-Trump, or worse yet, being endorsed by Trump. What exactly are Trump's values?
Do they honestly think West Virginians can't see the forest for the trees, and each would throw away a valuable vote toward someone using Trump's name to gain office? Do they honestly think we are so stupid as to succumb to the use of the word "Trump" as a magical shoe-in for winning. Or becoming the winner?
This insecure bully has demanded the House of Delegates denounce any support for Biden to control the border crossings. He has placed his daughter-in-law in charge of the money for the RNC, which will direct all the money to himself. And he has lied continuously about his values and his worth and has avoided paying his fair share of taxes. He has promised the very rich they will not pay taxes -- then who will?
Another farce is using the fear of transgenders. I think those of us who have healthy children should thank God that we don't have to personally deal with this situation.
No child wants to be different and such a misrepresentation to make voters believe there is a transgender in every locker room is a fabrication being used claiming to protect our children from a "threat" that does not exist.
For those who believe Trump's values coincide with our "salvation," and he is the answer to our prayers -- BEWARE. The real answer is found in Revelation 12:3-4, 7-17-- "A Red Dragon with Seven Heads, Ten Horns, and Seven Crowns. The dragon as Satan, the devil. The heads represent his knowledge, the horns represent his power, and the crowns represent his rule or control over those who allow themselves to be overcome by him."
That should be enough to scare the voters into not throwing away a vote on anyone who aligns with Trump and/or with Trump himself.
