Letter to the Editor: Biden, Trump both in need

Joe Biden exhibits most of the characteristics of a senile adult male. It is a fact of life that as we age, we fail. But, for someone his age (81) to be in probably the most stressful occupation in the world and not be in full possession of his faculties is horrendous. The man cannot complete sentences, cannot read his teleprompter, etc. So shameful that his family lets him continue making a fool of himself. It is their fault and the fault of the Democratic leadership, and it is the fault of people who voted for him. There are many 81-year-olds who are in control of their faculties and are really sharp. Mr. Biden is not one of them.
Part of the list of grievances against him are abortion -- the deliberate murder of an unborn child. It is pre-meditated murder, plain and simple. To call it a woman's right or health care is ludicrous.
He fails to secure our southern border from thugs and criminals on a daily basis. He could stop the illegals if he wanted to. The poem on the Statue of Liberty, written by Emma Lazarus, is not part of the constitution. It says, among other things, "Give me your tired, your poor, ... the wretched refuse of your teeming shore." I do not want the wretched refuse of other countries. They can stay home. Ask the family of the nursing student in Georgia whose daughter was murdered by a Venezuelan thug who should never have been here.
He thinks we can throw money at every problem, and it will fix it. Our national debt is so far out of control it is crazy.
Concerning Mr. Trump, I believe he has a problem with morals. He cannot keep his mouth shut when he should. But, we have to look at what he believes, or at least espouses. He is pro-life, will secure the border if Democrats will let him, wants to strengthen our country, and make America first. What is wrong with that?
Trump has said he sees no reason to ask Jesus for forgiveness. Biden is a Catholic. Both men need Jesus. That is the solution to their problems and the problems of our country. Pray that someone will cross their paths and tell them of their need for salvation.
